Economical efficiency of selected crops growing in conventional and organic farming system - case study
POKORNÁ, Kamila
The diploma thesis focused the economic efficiency of growing oat and spring barley in a conventional and organic farming system during 2018 to 2022. The thesis is divided into two parts, the literary part and the practical part. The literary part describes economic efficiency, agriculture, agricultural subsidies and selected crops. The practical part includes calculating the profitability of crops in both systems. The basic rate of profitability was determined based on the revenues, purchase prices and costs of each business. In the end, financial support in the form of subsidies to which the selected companies are entitled are added to the calculation of profitability. In addition to the calculation itself, the thesis includes the causes of the resulting difference in efficiency between the two systems.
The use of humine preparations at the winter wheat
ŠVEC, Jakub
The diploma thesis deals with the use of humic preparations in winter wheat (Tri-ticum aestivum). The experiment was based on a family farm with two varieties of winter wheat. These were varieties from the Lima Grain company. The varieties were LG Mocca and LG Magirus. In the experiment, 3 different dosage variants of Blackjak were compared against the control variant. The dose of the product was graduated in half a liter per hectare, i.e. variant No. 1: 0.5 l*ha-1, No. 2: 1 l*ha-1, No. 3: 1.5 l*ha-1. In the case of the LG Mocca variety, there was an increase in profits in all variants, from which it can be concluded that even the application of 0.5 l*ha-1 is advantageous. However, the highest increase in profits was for variant No. 3, where the increase in profits was CZK 3,087. For the LG Magirus variety, these results were not so clear. Variant No. 1, where 0.5 l*ha-1 was applied, came out with a lower profit than the control variant. The highest increase in profits was for variant No. 3, where the increase was CZK 1,554.
Conversion of the farm on organic farming - case study
KOTRBOVÁ, Kateřina
This thesis deals with a family farm in the South Bohemian region, evaluating the current state of management on the farm in conventional agriculture. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to evaluate whether the conversion to organic farming is worthwhile for the company. According to the mentioned documents from the owner of the farm and obtaining information about subsidy titles for future years, it was evaluated that this family farm is able to prosper in organic farming. The theoretical part of the work contains information about the history of organic farming in the Czech Republic, the main goals of organic farming, legislation, con-trol, certification and also about state support for organic farming. The second part of the work characterizes the surroundings of the enterprise, the past and present state of the farm, which deals with the structure of plant and ani-mal production, feed balance, calculation and evaluation of data. The last part deals with the evaluated data and evaluates them into final results. Several options are proposed with which the company can work after conversion and become more specialized according to sales.
Economical efficiency of selected crops growing in conventional and organic farming system - case study
PICKA, Adam
This bachelor's thesis deals with an overview of the economic efficiency of growing field crops (winter wheat and winter barley) in an agricultural enterprise in the district of Jindřichův Hradec. Both crops are solved from the economic point of view of cultivation in both organic and conventional farming systems. The costs of growing plants, yield and average price production are calculated from the management procedures of the company, and then the economic efficiency of growing the crops is evaluated. The result is then compared with that of an organic farm that grows crops in comparable habitat conditions as a conventional farm. The difference between inputs and outputs in individual types of management is calculated and subsequently the results of the given management systems are evaluated.
Biology, occurrence and regulation of weeds in organic and conventional agriculture
ŠVEC, Jakub
The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of weed control in cereals, especially in common wheat (Triticum sp.). It focuses on the issue of weeds and their control by herbicides in the conventional system of farming and organic farming using mechanical means.
ILCA for selected cereal species
PANUŠKOVÁ, Šárka
The aim of this work was to identify and evaluate the environmental burden that arises during the cultivation of wheat and rye. The categories of agrotechnical operations, field emissions, fertilizers and pesticides were compared. The subsequent goal was to compare the resulting environmental burden between conventional and organic farming.
Economical efficiency of selected crops growing in conventional and organic farming system - case study
DOČEKAL, Aleš
Diploma thesis is dedicated to the comparing of the economical efficiency of selected crop cultivation (namely winter wheat and winter rye) in conventional and organic farming system in years 2015-2019. The data about yield and redemption price was detected in the monitored years for comparison. In addition to that the technological approaches were found and valued according to the standards of agricultural production technologies. As an indicator of economic efficiency was calculated the rate of profitability. The thesis is also dedicated to the factors which affect the difference of economic efficiency between systems including the impact of agricultural subsidies.
Možnosti pěstování luskovin v různých systémech zemědělství ČR
Plchová, Radka
This diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the possibilities of legumes in various agricultural systems of the Czech Republic. In the literary research of this thesis are first introduced more and less known species of legumes and their growing conditions. There are also described agricultural systems - conventional, integrated and organic agriculture. Legumes are suitable for growing in all these systems, however in the case of organic farming is increased risk of harmful pathogens with reflection in reducing yield and quality. In the practical part of the thesis are presented results from the experiment with soybean, where yield and quality parametres were monitored in dependence of the environmental conditions.
Škodlivost plevelů polních plodin v provozních podmínkách
Slováková, Veronika
The thesis evaluated occurrence and harmfulness of weeds on the lands grown in organ-ic and conventional farming in 2014 and 2016. Two companies (AGRODELTA, s. r.o. a JASNO, spol. s r.o.) used monitored lands on a daily basis. Following crops were evaluated in organic farming: winter wheat under sowing with vetch, winter wheat and triticale under sowing with vetch, spring oat with field pea and spring oat. In terms of conventional farming, following crops were evaluated: winter rape, winter wheat, spring wheat under sowing with alfalfa, maize around sowing by winter barley, maize and al-falfa. Total number of evaluated weeds in terms of organically managed fields is 34, while in conventionally managed fields the number of evaluated weeds was 24. Follow-ing weed species in organically managed fields were selected as the most dangerous and harmful: Tripleurospermum inodorum, Sinapis arvensis, Cirsium arvense a Taraxacum sect. Ruderalia. In case of conventionally managed fields, most dangerous and harmful weed species were Tripleurospermum inodorum, Cirsium arvense, Taraxacum sect. Ruderalia, Echinochloa crus-galli a Elytrigia repens.
